Mount Dana 13,057′ West Slopes 5/31/2010

Well after visiting my brother after Mummy we had some dinner in Vegas and I was back on the road. I got to Beatty and started to feel really hot, even with the windows down. I knew that I had a fever. I figured if I got a good nights rest that would take care of it. I got a room in Beatty and slept until about 11. I felt better and got on the road. Now my goal was to make it to Tioga Pass in time to ski that afternoon. I made good time and got to the pass with plenty of time to ski. I headed up the west slopes through good corn. This was gonna be quick and fun for sure. I made decent time summiting in about 2:15 minutes for the 3200 vert and 3 miles. I snapped some pics and took a look at the Dana Couloir. It was already shaded and I was wondering if it was glazed over with a crust. I had found such nice corn on the west ridge I opted for the known and made my descent. It was super nice, can’t stop for anything snow. I was back at the truck in 35 minutes. So Money.
