Gold Hill 12,000′ North Slopes 3/26/2010

Well my family was going out of town to Grandma’s house for a week so I dropped them at the airport and headed up to the hills. Gold Hill in Mayflower Gulch offers easy access and wind and sun protected slopes. I figured we could get some pow turns in before it started getting hot later on in the week. This was also the maiden voyage of my new skis, SkiLogik Rave 186. I was a little nervous on how they’d ski in pow since they have a lot of sidecut at 15m. They skied great. I will write a review on them in a few days.

Brennan Metzler left town for Jackson before I could get pics from him so I will update this TR once he gets them to me later this week. There should be some good ones so check back.
