“Hassell Peak” 13,215 and Butler Gulch 11/30/09

Published by at 7:40 PM under 13ers,Colorado,Skiing Trip Reports

Got up for a nice little trip today. I had to go fast because I had to make it back for an appointment for my little one. This was a sweet tour. The snow in Butler was great and the temps were really nice. The snow up high wasn’t so great but I needed the exercise. 3000′ vertical and 7.2 miles. No action pics, I flew solo today. I feel like I’m getting faster. Now let the snow come please.

My Line - A little steeper than I wanted so I stayed left - Saw some recent slides that looked natural from a few days ago
