Jones Pass 10/2/2009 – Let The Season Begin
After getting some nice early season storms it seemed like the time was right to make some turns. I got the call from Mir and plans were hatched.
Jones Pass is great early season because it seems to get loaded no matter the direction of the storm. The road provides easy access for a 4 wheel drive and the hiking is super easy on rusty legs.
Mir First
My Turn. I went ahead and got a little bit of extra vert. It was manky dust on rocks
The upper turns are visible. The lower stuff is hidden by a ridge. About 800 vert for the shot.
Great getting out with you Mir. Looking forward to more trips soon. Your pants seem so subdued this year
