Verbier 2/25-26 Off Piste Fun Around and On Le Ferret 2965m
For our first 2 days of our trip we were skiing around Verbier. Visiting a bunch of lines that I skied the last time I was here. We also skied a line that I had been eyeing the last time too. This was the steep face above Lac de Cleuson on Pointe Le Ferret. It’s really cool to eye up a sweet line and then come back and get it done on the next trip. It’s hard not to fantasize about beautiful mountains, but to make those fantasies a reality is really cool and all the more satisfying. The other goal of these two days was to figure out what the snowpack was like. We figured there would be more skier traffic around Verbier but we also figured that we could get good info on what aspects were holding the goods. There have been some recent fatalities in the are around the Canton of Valais so figuring out the right aspects to be on seemed really important.
Anyway enjoy the pics of this beautiful place.
