Cooper Mountain 12,782′ 1/8/2013 Southeast Bowl
Got out and stretched the legs and lungs. It was really good to get up high after being back at sea level for a week over New Years. Hans joined me for the fun. From Peru Creek trailhead we made good time up to Chihuahua Gulch and then up the Southwest Ridge of Cooper. With such a late start we weren’t able to keep going to Ruby but had a decent ski from the saddle between Ruby and Cooper. WE NEED MORE SNOW!!!! ULLR WHAT’S UP?????
The climb was the best part of the day with fun bouldering on the Southwest Ridge of Cooper.
Always a pleasure to hang Hans. Looking forward to the next time
