Northstar Mtn 13,614′ Polaris Couloir Partial 7/5/2011
At this point after 7 great days I am absolutely wiped out. I made the mistake of sleeping in a bed at Jesse’s. Feeling rested but still lacking any energy I headed up to Blue Lakes and made for Northstar’s north slopes. I made poor time and worked my way up to the entrance of the line. Thankfully dark clouds came over the ridge and were my excuse for bailing. I got some nice turns though and got outta there. A successful trip I think.
