The line has the potential for about 2200′ vert but this day I got about 1600′ due to melt out at the bottom. I’d say the steepest point is near the top at about 47 degrees then it scales back to about 40. It’s a very fun line with great “hallways walls” on both sides.

Hi Fritz/killingcokes – It was fun running into you guys, thanks for setting the track up the gully. Wasn’t the ridge back to Belford fun in the wind? Nice pics, looks like you got back out early but it still seemed like a long day. Even Beau was tired after fighting the wind. We skied the west face because Beau had skied it before and said it was really good. (The gullies were probably better!!!) We skied a long way down the switchbacks – but we have old skis so the bare patches weren’t a worry. Hope to see you out there somewhere again…

Yeah its amazing how fast things have melted on the main solar aspects. In 2 weeks East and West Buffalo Peaks have gone from looking amazing to just barely skiable. This week should have minimal melt if the weather forecast holds, but the 2 snow days this weekend had a lot of blue sky and high temps. North is gonna be holding for months though so there is some hope. Working on that thing you wanted

I shoulda asked what you were up to and invited myself! Looks awesome! Dead Dog was moving by 9am. Went from TG to isothermic in a week. Skied a line off Kelso instead…
